Marmon Valley is beautiful, and so much fun. The trails are beautiful and all of the employees are so kind and knowledgeable! Definitely a great family outing!

So...I went to marmon valley this weekend and got the horsemanship badge. The trail ride was fine, and the staff were chill, until the lesson. They asked us to trot in a half circle. I bumped Bodie (my horse) to get him to trot and they YELLED at me. Bodie went a little faster than anticipated at the beginning of the trot, then got into the gait he was supposed to be in. The horse was trained fine. The staff told me to kiss to get him to move. I did, and nothing happened. Then they told me I could use my legs. I admit I may have bumped a little bit harder that I should have, because I usually ride Rosie, but not much harder than a normal bump. The staff made sneering remarks like "If she had kicked (insert horse name here) that hard, she would have been on the floor." I expected much more kindness from the staff but NOPE. I think the one that was making remarks about how I was trained in a different barn was the owners wife. NEVER let her teach your lessons in the arena unless you want to be judged on the way you ride. But you also should respect their rules, like at any barn. They are allowed to correct you, but don't let them harass you.

Great first time riding experience! My only complaint is, one of the workers adjusted my stirrups when I got on, but another readjusted before we took to the trail and the second adjustment made the stirrups to short and I ended up with a very sore bottom and legs! Needless to say, I learned to speak up when something doesn't feel right! Other than that, the workers were great, beautiful horses and everything went as planned! Highly recommend taking children or the family here to ride! Rain or shine it is so fun!

I had went to camp last year and many years before. I never really had a good time, last year I cried every night during week. One of the people who taught are group made me cry a lot, the camp also made me question my religion after. I had to level down because of it. The people there were unfriendly and the food sucked. I learned nothing and got trama. PARENTS Please don’t bring your kid here,

We took our grandson trail riding for his birthday wish. The staff was great. Although my husband and I horse owners and experienced riders, they took great care to show our 10 year old grandson all he needed to know for the ride. Our front guide, Heaven, was lots of fun. It was a perfect day! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to contact with nature in a fun way.
